Raku is a Japanese term used to indicate joy, divertimento. Raku is an ancient technique, dating back to 1500, that of the tea ceremony masters made their own influenced by Zen philosophy: dell’asimmetrico taste, the harmony between material, form and decoration, the simplicity of forms and colori.In a weekend you will be able to acquire this technique and take home objects made!

“UNDER THE SUN OF SABINA” BUILD YOUR MERIDIAN
Professor Colletti proposes an unusual and fun pottery class that are mostly carried out in the garden of St. Hilary on Farfa as the objects that will be made are sundials or sundials that, ultimate, become the property of each of the participants in the course. Preparations are interesting in working phases such as the design of the sundial and the identification of the meridian line. At the end of the course will receive a CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE.
